*Job Description for IT Support Network L2* 1) Backing up network data 2) Analyzing and reporting security breaches or attempted breaches 3) Troubleshooting the network to identify connectivity issues and using diagnostic testing software and equipment 4) Documenting network support activities 5) Configuring wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) routers or related equipment 6) Installing network software, such as security or firewall. 7) Providing end-user support in person and remotely 8) Evaluating network performance data regarding things like speed, connectivity and disaster recovery 9) Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the wireless infrastructure and all associated devices 10) Maintains and monitors current inventory of installed and un-installed equipment 11) Network services, including configuring, installing, and managing data services at the network hardware and software level. 12) Install, maintain and upgrade networking devices, including switches, firewalls, IPS, and definitions within a secure space
